Pakistan cricket team left for England tour on Sunday, 28th June 2020. The team is accompanied by 20 players and 11 support staff members.
A series of three Tests and three T20| are to be played in a 'bio-safe' environment between England and Pakistan.
The Test series between Pakistan and England will start from 30 July 2020, after which a series of three T20| will be played.
The PCB has shared some pictures and videos on Twitter in which the players are seen at the airport.
The Pakistan Cricket Board initially planned to send a team of 29 players, but 10 players were found infected with the COVID-19 earlier this week. After this, the number of players also decreased.
Pakistan limited overs team captain Babar Azam also shared a picture on social media on Sunday. He wrote, 'embarking on another historic tour of England. Playing in England has always been very good. I look forward to going on this tour with a group of talented players. Fans, as always, we will need your prayers. According to a report, the Pakistani team will reach Manchester from where the players and support staff will be sent to Worcestershire.
This will be followed by the Covid-19 Test. After this, the Pakistan team will have to remain isolated for 14 days. However, training will be allowed during this period. (From input agency)
